Dr Rajesh Mishra is a strategic bridge builder in Indo-German economic and cultural relations. Based in the Hanseatic city of Bremen, he has spent over a decade strengthening cooperation between Germany and India through entrepreneurship, trade partnerships, and cross-cultural initiatives.

As the founder and initiator of the Germany Indian Business Summit (GIBS), Dr. Mishra established a platform that connects the German Mittelstand with India’s rapidly growing innovation ecosystem. His work focuses on fostering sustainable business networks, supporting the integration of skilled professionals, and facilitating market opportunities between both nations.
Community Leadership
Dr. Mishra is also actively engaged in public and community initiatives:
- Member – Bremer Rat für Integration, advising the Bremen government on integration and international community affairs.
- Founder – Shaktya e.V., supporting the Indian diaspora and intercultural exchange in Northern Germany.
- Coordinator for India’s Covid-19 relief initiatives in Northern Germany, uniting 13 regional organizations in collaboration with the Embassy of India.
Academic & Holistic Background
Dr. Mishra holds a PhD in Yoga & Ecology and is the founder of the Dr. Mishra Academy, where he promotes holistic well-being, mental resilience, and leadership development. His interdisciplinary background combines science, environmental studies, and yogic philosophy.

Dr. Shazia Aziz Wülbers (PhD)

Dr. Shazia Aziz Wülbers is a distinguished political scientist and educator based in Bremen, specialising in European–Indian relations and international cooperation. As Co-Founder of the German-Indian Business Summit (GIBS), she contributes to strengthening the dialogue among academia, policy, and business, supporting deeper strategic engagement between Germany and India.
Academic Leadership & International Engagement
Dr. Wülbers is actively involved in higher education in Bremen as a Senior Lecturer and Researcher at the University of Bremen and Hochschule Bremen. Through her academic work, she promotes international collaboration and knowledge exchange between European and Asian institutions.
She also leads initiatives that foster global dialogue and partnerships, including:
- Head – India Study Centre, Bremen, facilitating academic and policy exchange between German and Indian experts.
- Organiser of International Summer Schools, bringing together students and professionals from across the world.
- Facilitator of policy dialogue and institutional partnerships, working with organizations such as the DAAD and international academic networks.
Academic Background
Dr. Wülbers holds a PhD in Political Science from Sciences Po, Paris, specializing in international relations and comparative politics. She also earned her MA and MPhil in International Relations from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi, focusing on India’s foreign policy and global diplomacy.
Her multicultural academic journey enables her to analyze geopolitical developments from both European and Indian perspectives.

Her research explores the strategic potential of EU–India relations, focusing on political cooperation, economic partnerships, and global governance. She has contributed to academic discourse through publications including a working paper on European–Indian relations in collaboration with the GIGA German Institute of Global and Area Studies.
