4th German Indian Business Summit (GIBS)

The energy crisis is one of the most critical challenges facing the world today, requiring a global approach as no single nation can address it in isolation. India and Germany have established themselves as natural partners in this journey, demonstrating a high-level commitment to collaborating on sustainable energy solutions like Green Hydrogen and renewables.

Currently, India is making significant strides toward fulfilling 50% of its energy requirements through renewable sources by 2030. Meanwhile, Germany has positioned itself ahead of many other EU nations by raising its ambition to achieve net-zero emissions by 2045. Given the ongoing climate and energy landscape, there is no better time for these two nations to accelerate their green cooperation efforts. The 4th edition of the German Indian Business Summit (GIBS) aims to explore how the Indian and German governments, private sectors, and academic institutions can complement one another to find lasting, sustainable solutions.
