Introduction
The German-Indian Business Summit (GIBS) is a premier platform dedicated to strengthening the economic and strategic ties between Germany and India. Now in its 5th edition, the 2024 summit brings together policy makers, industry leaders, and academic experts to explore the transformative power of Artificial Intelligence.
This year’s summit focuses on “The impact of AI on sustainable technology and digitalisation,” examining how cutting-edge innovations can drive environmental sustainability and digital transformation across both nations. Held in the historic city of Bremen, the event serves as a gateway for the German Mittelstand to explore “Make in India” opportunities while addressing critical shared challenges such as the skilled labor shortage (Fachkräftemangel).
The summit also marks a significant cultural and professional milestone with the inauguration of India Days Bremen, fostering a deeper collaborative spirit between the two regions.
